About the Artist
Arminda started tattooing in 2017. Getting her licenses and initially starting out in Miami, she knew since high school that she was going to be a tattoo artist. After returning to Omaha, she began tattooing at Omega Point and loves the atmosphere. “It’s great to be surrounded by great artist and great mentors like Paul and Andy. Even after 3 years, you are still learning new techniques every day.”
When asked about her favorite tattoo she’s done so far Arminda remembered a Virgin Mary Tattoo that was done on the thigh. “I remember drawing it up even before I had someone interested and I put so much detail that I didn’t think I would be the one tattooing it. After showing it to Andy, he loved it and new just the person that would like it. He then said that I was going to be the tattooing it and I was a little nervous this is his client and the tattoo is very detailed. Andy trusted me 100% and knew I would do great.” That tattoo was done perfectly and the client loved it. “It was a rush of confidence in my abilities as a tattoo artist.”
Arminda loves doing realism style tattoos, gray work and other variations of styles of tattoos. Her favorite places to tattoo are the thighs and arms just so her client is as comfortable as possible through out the tattoo and she has an ease of access to the canvas. Arminda recommends usually a 1-2 week period if you are looking to get a larger tattoo from her, if smaller she can mostly likely get you in sooner.
